They say many of them have died without anyone taking notice of their sufferings and impoverished living conditions.

Pensioners in Osun state are on the streets and they insist that the government's inhumane treatment of their welfare must end.

They are gathered in parts of Osogbo, the state capital and will organize a march that will most likely end at the Government House.

They are being owed over 6 months worth of pensions and efforts to discuss with state authorities appear to be unproductive.

Reports suggest their protest may be connected with the Federal Government cash rain as it returns excess deductions from Paris Club returns.
