BREAKING NEWS: 2nd Judge Disqualifies Self In Paul Usoro's N1.8Bn Alleged Fraud
"For personal reasons I hereby disqualify myself from handling the case personal reasons, I hereby return this filed back to the chief judge of Federal high court for reassignment."
That's according to Justice Chuka Obiozor of the Federal high court in Lagos.
He has requited himself from handling the N1.8 billion criminal charge preferred against the embattled president of Nigeria Barr Association, Paul Usoro (SAN).
Usoro was drag to court last year by the economic and financial crime commission EFCC.
At the start of proceedings on Thursday, when Uzoro was suppose to be rearranged before the judge, Obiozor chose to step aside.
This is the second justice to walk away from this case. It was learnt that following Usoro’s letter to the CJ, Adamu Abdu-Kafarati his case was withdrawn from Justice Muslim Hassan.
