BREAKING: Lagos APC Counting Votes At Secretariat
Is the All Progressives Congress (APC) a divided party or its top members are just flexing muscles and deliberately playing games with Nigerians?
One minute the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party will say the primary election held in Lagos on Tuesday is illegal, and the next minute the Lagos chapter of the APC will throw the comment of the Committee away and continue the electoral process.
Results collation has continued, giving indications that the state APC may have put its gear in cruise drive.
The situation at the secretariat of the party in Acme Road, Ikeja, says it all. It is indicting that the cancellation announcement was just part of what political analysts had described as Macabre dance that started for weeks now.
Everything is going on as scheduled, with the road to the secretariat blocked off from vehicles. Result may soon be announced.

The NWC had declared the election illegal, insisting that due process was not followed in the exercise.
It also said fake election materials were used for the primary election that was held at different locations in Lagos.
According to the Committee, the original materials for the exercise were still in the custody of the electoral panel.
It had said that a new date for fresh primary election would be announced, but Lagos State APC has ignored this statement by the NWC, insisting that election was held.
