The coach of Kelechi Iheanacho at Leicester City, Craig Shakespeare has been fired!

The Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Ahmed Musa also play for the former Premier League champions.

Shakespeare as reported in The Sun was hauled in for a meeting by club chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha today after the club's 1-1 draw at home to West Brom last night.

And the Thai owner made it clear one win from the opening eight matches of the season was not good enough for the former Premier League winners.

The 53-year old gaffer was only given the job on a permanent basis four months ago having taken charge on an interim bases following the sacking of Claudio Ranieri.

But he failed to maintain the improved level in performance of the side and has paid with his job.

Indeed, Shakespeare will be unhappy with the likes of Iheanacho who despite the huge investment on them failed to lift up the club.
