Raymond Dokpesi has stepped down from contesting in Saturday's PDP Convention. 

Also, former Ogun State governor Otunba Gbenga Daniel has withdrawn from the Peoples Democratic Party chairmanship race.

His withdrawal is coming few hours after another aspirant Bode George pulled out of the race.

With the latest withdrawal, the coast is getting clearer for Uche Secundus to emerge the national chairman of the party.

Bode George said he was withdrawing from the race on a matter of principle, saying it was wrong for the party not to have micro-zone the office of the national chairman.
