The Department of State Services on Friday failed to bring the detained Chairman of Capital Oil, Ifeanyi Ubah in court as ordered by a Federal High.

Justice Muhammed Idris of the Federal High Court in Lagos had on Tuesday ordered the DSS to produce Ubah in court.

Lawyers of both the DSS and Ubah are currently presenting their cases before the judge.

Ifeanyi Ubah was arrested over his alleged refusal to remit N11 billion realised from the sales of petroleum products stored in his facility by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

The matter has now been adjourned till May 18.
