BREAKING: Davido Lied About Tagbo's Death
The last has not been heard of the untimely demise of Tagbo Umeike.
News reaching Bounce News has it that contrary to previous claims, Nigerian artiste and friend to the deceased, Davido lied about the circumstances surrounding Tagbo's death.
Speaking with newsmen Wednesday, the Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgar confirmed that Tagbo was brought into General Hospital, Lagos Island, dead confirming the initial report put out by girlfriend, Caroline Danjuma that he was abandoned for dead by Davido and friends at the hospital.
He further revealed that a pre-investigation meeting which was attended by Caroline, family and friends of the deceased including Davido established that the late Tagbo met and drank with friends including Davido at Shisha bar on the night of his demise.
The bartender who was present at the meeting, confirmed that the deceased drank up to 40 cups of tequila and exhibited signs of intoxication.

Davido claimed he left the venue without Tagbo for another club - DNA, where he heard Tagbo had died.
Further investigation ordered by the CP then showed that one Tunde Yesufu - driver of a white escort vehicle, one Agbaje Olaoye, and one other person took the deceased, Tagbo to the hospital and abandoned him on Davido's instruction.
CCTV captured all their deliberations and the escort vehicle that was driven by these persons was also recovered at the residence of David Adeleke.
This debunks Davido's claims that he didn't know how Tagbo got to General Hospital.
It also necessitated Davido being re-invited for questioning to explain why Tagbo was dumped without any attempt to meet with the doctor.
Davido has been re-invited and is being interrogated.
Meanwhile, autopsy reports have shown Tagbo died of suffocation.
The escort driver is still in police custody.
CP Edgar told newsmen that he stepped into the investigation to avoid speculations as the case was a sensitive one.
