Nigeria president Muhammadu Buhari has submitted his APC presidential forms at the party secretariat in Abuja.

Buhari is seeking re-election for a second term in office in the February 2019 election.

Personal Assistant to Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, announced the development on his twitter handle on Wednesday with a short video of the president and party chairman Adams Oshiomhole .

“President @MBuhari has just submitted his nomination forms for the 2019 Presidential election to the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat.”

Buhari on September 5 picked his expression of interest and nomination form, to contest in the forthcoming primary election of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The form, sold for N45million, was reportedly purchased on his behalf Wednesday, by one of his support groups, the Nigerian Consolidation Ambassadors Network.
