A feeling of de javu?

The President has cancelled the Federal Executive Council meeting slated for Wednesday.

Buhari has not presided over the council in 107 days.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, made this known in a statement issued early on Wednesday.

Adesina did not however disclose the reason behind the decision to cancel the meeting.

But he said Buhari would on Wednesday receive the report of the investigation committee into the allegations against the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ayo Oke.

On Tuesday, Adesina said the President would head back to the United Kingdom for more medical treatment if the need arises.
