At least 7 people have been killed in Mildo community, in Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

Madagali is one of the communities insurgents took over in 2014 before it was liberated in heightened counter-terrorism operation.

The attack on Mildo community was carried out by suspected members of the Boko Haram terrorist group.

Most of the victims were beheaded and they were all men

They had sneaked into the town on Tuesday night through Chakawa village. At least 2 houses were torched.

Two women were also injured in the attack and are receiving medical attention at an undisclosed hospital.

This is coming 2 days after Service Chiefs returned to northeast Command Centre to strengthen the fight against the insurgents in the northeast.

Attacks by the terrorist group in the area is increasing, including abduction of oil exploration workers, officials of the Joint Task Force and staff of the University of Maiduguri that occurred on July 22.
