BREAKING: Battle For Supremacy In Oshodi Leaves Three Dead
Hell appears to have been let loose in Oshodi area of Lagos State.
Oshodi is presently a danger zone, as security personnel try to restore peace.
At least three people have been killed and many others injured, as factions of social miscreants popularly called 'area boys' battle each other in Oshodi.
The fight broke out on Tuesday night between boys from Agbole and those from some other seven streets - Adekunle, Maboyomije, Orona, Mosaku, Ijaiye, Eniyanlobinu and Owoseni - in the area.
After the Tuesday night fracas, there was reprisal by these seven streets boys, leading to the death of three persons at Balogun Street.
On Wednesday, Police had intervened, but that intervention was temporary, as further hostility resumed after the security agents left.
Gunshots were heard all over the area like it was a war, leaving the residents in utter fear.
For days now residents have slept with one eye open, with the streets deserted.
Businesses in Oshodi have been shut down voluntarily by owners to say saff and away from the fracas.
In the morning on Thursday, soldiers from ÒP MESA joined the Police to try and restore peace.
