The political gladiators are set to slug it out at the primaries.
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has reportedly submitted his nomination form, despite alleged fallout between him and the All Progressives Congress National Leader, Bola Tinubu.
According to Dele Momodu, he submitted the form on Wednesday in Abuja.
The incumbent Lagos governor picked the APC nomination and expression of interests forms on Monday in Abuja.
Meanwhile Jide Sanwo-Olu, another Lagos State governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Jide Sanwo-Olu, has said he was in the race to bring his wealth of experience in both the private and the public sectors to bear in improving the lot of the people of Lagos.
Sanwo-Olu said this in an interview with journalists, in Abuja, on Wednesday.
He spoke after submitting his expression of interest and nomination forms. The aspirant said he was prepared to do what was necessary to improve the living conditions of all Lagosians.
The third aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Obafemi Hamzat, on Tuesday submitted his nomination form at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.
