#BounceListicle: 5 Most Followed Nigerian Musicians On Instagram
Instagram, for all intents and purposes, can be described as the social media playground of celebrities.
Asides from showcasing their work, celebrities also give us a glimpse into their busy, glamorous lives on the Facebook-owned platform.
Indeed, many juicy entertainment stories have emerged from the social sharing platform, most notably, in the Nigerian entertainment space, being the pleasantly shocking news of Banky W and Adesua Etomi's engagement.
In light of the enormous influence the platform wields, Bounce News went a digging to find the most followed Nigerian musicians on Instagram.
Here are the top 5.

Few months after signing with Sony, he started his own label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), which have Dremo and Mayorkun currently signed on as artistes.
No stranger to controversy, Davido has consistently been in the middle of one social media drama or another, recently getting into a spat with fellow top act, Wizkid over who had the current number one song.

Given Wizkid's huge success, it's hard to imagine him as the young, unknown lad who Banky W signed to his Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E) label in 2009.
Fast-forward 8 years later, Wizzy baby is unarguably one of Nigeria's biggest music exports and 2nd most followed Nigerian musician on Instagram.
After a string of hits back home in Nigeria, Wizkid broke into the international scene after writing and appearing on Drake's huge summer jam, "One Dance" which nabbed several awards, including the Billboard music awards.
On 1 March 2017, Billboard magazine reported that Wizkid signed a multi-album deal with RCA Records.

She also signed a management and publishing deal with Roc Nation in June 2016, which she later confirmed via Instagram.
