Following Monday’s defection of the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, Moshood Salvador to the All Progressives Congress (APC), the secretariat of the PDP in the state seems to have been deserted.
When Bounce News visited the party office along the popular Adekunle Fajuyi Way in Ikeja on Tuesday, August 28th, the hitherto bubbling secretariat was as quiet as a graveyard.
Party members, staff and visitors had all deserted the one-storey building.
None of the state officials were found in any of the offices as they were firmly locked.
However, security guards and old women selling were seen within the premises.

The driver, who was said to have dozed off, lost control and crashed the vehicle transporting sheepskin from Adamawa to Kano state.
According to eyewitness, the driver, identified by the police as Amadu Shu’aibu, was said to have fallen asleep not knowing he was approaching a roundabout.

The two conductors who were seated at the back of the truck died on the spot while the driver who survived the crash was rushed to the hospital.
Mrs Oluwatoyin Aderibigbe was heading back to Lagos from Abuja by road on May 29 when her family lost track of her.
It was not an unusual trip. She works at the Federal Medical Centre, Ijabi in Abuja but visits regularly to spend time with her family.
But it appears that this time, the 54-year-old woman never got to Lagos. According to her daughter, Abiodun Owoeye, they tracked her line and discovered that her phone was switched off at Kotonkafe in Kogi state.
The Police are on the trail of a man and his wife who physically abused, killed and buried their maid.
Ugunali Ifunaya, 12 was reportedly killed and buried secretly by he'r guardian, Ada Samuel and her husband.
Ifunaya was a primary four pupil of Kusoru Primary School, Ire Akari in Ilasamaja area of Lagos State.
Ifunaya’s trouble started after she misplaced N200 given to her by her guardian for keeps. She was then said to have inquired from her guardian’s husband, about the missing money.

8) Body Of Missing Okada Rider Recovered In Gombe
The remains of an Okada rider, Abubakar Jibir, who was declared missing has been recovered after four days.
His newly bought motorcycle was also recovered.
The 25 years old rider and father of two, who hails from Kuri village in Yamaltu Deba local government of Gombe state, left his family in Kuri to make ends meet in Gombe state.
On his way, he took a passenger to an unknown location around NTA Lafiyawo Gombe, and that was the last they saw of him.
