#BounceExclusive: This Musician Will Not Mind Leaking Her Nude Pictures
Joy, rock and love radiates through all of Clay’s music and there is a lot she wants you to know about her genre of music.
The singer who spoke to Bounce News claims that her music saves lives, and the positive messages of her songs have helped calm suicidal people and save others from their depressed states.
Songs that have titles like “Ogadisinma (An Igbo word that translates to’ it would be well’) and Anwuli (another Igbo word that translates to ‘joy’ or ‘happiness’) are examples of some of this ‘musical therapy’ that Clay provides.
The singer possesses one of the most unique and inimitable voices in Nigeria's music industry.
She began her career professionally in 2010, and has stayed true to her musical calling of rock/alternative music, and she remains undeterred to go mainstream.
“I have been writing rock songs from 12 and have been listening to rock music since I was 8. My father at first was not happy that I decided to be a musician, but after he attended one of my concerts and saw the crowd, he became okay with my career path.
"So, you see rock music chose me. So, when a fan advised me to try to sound like Tiwa Savage, I said ‘No thank you’ I love the way I sound,” she said.
The singer has collaborated with Vector, Aramide, MI Abaga and recently Johnn Drille on the beautiful love song ‘The One’ and she says her days of ‘teaming up’ are not yet done.
“Adekunle Gold I am coming for you. I would love to also collaborate with Brymo, and if Asa will have me I would be happy” she pronounced with a smile.
Clay wishes that more people will listen to her songs.
Talking about controversy that artistes sometimes are involved in, she says if her name has to be associated with a controversy that will help propel her career forward, it would be something that has been done by Toke Makinwa, Jojo Charry and Marvelous Dominion.
“It would be nice to have my nude pictures leaked. Hey, you asked” she said, laughing.
If you accidentally see Clay’s nudes online anywhere , remember you heard it here first. Will you want to see?
