Ajide, Bounce News gathered, has been sick even before the election. He was not physically present during all the rallies in the run up to polls on July 22.

He only came into the country three days to the July 22 election to participate in the final rally.

Ajide, who managed to attend the swearing-in ceremony, however, absent at the election to appoint executive members of the Conference of 57, the umbrella body of all the council members.

Except for his sickness, Ajide would have been elected as one of the principal officers of the association being a second term chairman.

Ajide’s health condition comes just one year after his former wife and mother of his kids, Adetola died in a London hospital.
