The appreciation of Bounce People under the #BounceAwoof campaign has started with rewards coming to loyal users of the Bounce News app and followers on social networks in the maiden edition of the Bounce News draw.

Smartphones, data bundles, tickets to different shows and goody bags were won by followers whose numbers were selected in the first draw witnessed by officials of the Consumer Protection Council.

At least 20 smart phones were won while 100 persons got data bundles.

Another 20 won tickets for either a music show or the movies and six persons won goody bags.

After the draws which was streamed live on Facebook, the Head of the Consumer Protection Council, Lagos Office, Mrs Susie Onwuka, adjudged the winners’ selection process, which was electronic, transparent.

#BounceAwoof first draw rewards bounce people

“The council is here to protect consumers' interest. We monitor draws because we want to be sure that consumers are not short-changed," she started.

“We will also follow through to ensure that winners will get what they were promised. Winners can also report to us if they do not get their rewards.

“The draw was transparent. The council advocates for electronic draws which give everyone a fair chance to be a winner and we are okay with the process,” Mrs Onwuka said.
