Boko Haram Kills 5, Steals 120 Cows In Fresh Borno Attack
Five persons have been killed in an attack on Dagu village in Borno State.
Members of the Boko Haram terrorist group are believed to have carried out the attack.
Reports suggest the armed men infiltrated the community from the south flank of Sambisa Forest.
They also made away with over a hundred cattle in the process.
Dagu is a village in Askira/Uba Local Council area of Borno State.
The terrorists also killed 3 local vigilantes who tried to confront them.
It was hard for people in the community to alert security operatives, since telecommunications masts have been destroyed, disrupting communication within the affected area.
The bodies of the deceased were buried on Tuesday.
