Boko Haram Frees 82 Chibok Girls
There are reports that the Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, has released 82 of the Chibok high school girls who were abducted in mid-April 2014.
A top military source broke to the news to Saharareporters.
The release of the 82 abducted school girls reportedly came after further negotiations between the Islamist group and the Muhammadu Buhari administration.
They are currently in Banki town in Borno state awaiting airlift to an unknown destination.
Details of the condition for the release of the Chibok school girls is unknown.
This brings to 103 the number of the girls so far released by the terrorists, as 21 of them were freed in October 2016.
A few of the girls had also escaped from the terrorists' camp.
