Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare is hungry for success and she demonstrated that in Budapest, Hungary on Tuesday where she won her second 100m race of the athletics season.

Indeed, Okagabre is finally getting into her strides as the IAAF World Championships billed for London inches closer.

The Nigerian star was back to winning ways on Tuesday at the Gyulai Memorial in Budapest where she clocked 11.11s.

Last week, Okagbare ran a season’s best of 11.07s to finish 3rd in IAFF Diamond League in Paris but this time around she comfortably secured a win, beating Remona Burchell who was 2nd in 11.15s and Morolake Akinosun finishing 3rd in 11.19s.

The multiple Nigerian champion is preparing for the All Nigeria Championships, as she would soon decide on what events she competes in at the World Championships in London.

Meanwhile in the men’s 100m, Justin Gatlin recorded his second sub 10s of the season after he narrowly defeated South Africa’s Akani Simbine by just 0.01s. Gatlin ran a time of 9.98s, and Simbine coming in 2nd 9.99s, while Isiah Young was 3rd in 10.10s

Young claimed top spot in the 200m with a winning time of 20.14s while Simbine settled for second spot again having posted a time of 20.21s. Dedrics Dukes finished 3rd in 20.44s.
