Nigeria's queen of the tracks, Blessing Okagbare-Ighoteguonor has served a big hint that she would not be passive during the fast approaching 2019 elections.

Though the well decorated star athlete has not declared membership of any political party nor give any indication that she would be vying for an elective post, Okagbare has publicly thrown her full weight behind the candidature of former Delta State Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan who is eyeing a seat in the Senate come 2019.

Okagbare openly endorsed Uduaghan on her Facebook page with a caption on his campaign posters  '%100????????????????'

Indeed, many will not be surprised with Okagbare's move to support Uduaghan as the ex-governor did a lot for the sprint-star while he was at the helm of affairs in Delta State.

As expected, fans of Okagbare have been reacting at the possible involvement of Nigeria's record holder in the 100m and 200m events in politics and the athlete did not mince words; saying that she is neck deep into the Uduaghan course.

"Sist (sister) for this particular matter, my head dey house" Okagbare replied when one her relatives said she has become a politician."
