Billionaire Kidnapper Evans' Trial Resumes
The trial of Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans resumed on Friday at the Lagos High Court, Ikeja.
Evans also referred as the billionaire kidnapper is standing trial along 5 others on a 2 count-charge of conspiracy and kidnap of one Duna Donatus.
The prosecutor said Evans and the other suspects allegedly committed the offence in February 2017.
Evans, who was arrested in June 2017, was first arraigned on August 30.
After initial charges were put forward, Evan pleaded guilty, but made a u-turn after prosecutor changed charges in the last trial date.
On that day, before the judge adjourned the case, Evans and his 5 co-accused all pleaded not guilty to the amended charges brought against them.
