Life without Mohamed Salah in the Egyptian national team can be miserable.

Romelu Lukaku set the the tone with the opening goal then Eden Hazard scored one and assisted another as Belgium got the big win in Brussels on Wednesday.

Drawn in World Cup Group G with England, Tunisia and tournament debutants Panama, Belgium are expected to comfortably advance into the second round.

However, head coach Roberto Martinez is yet to completely win over fans, and is sweating over the fitness of key defenders Thomas Vermaelen (thigh) and Vincent Kompany (groin).

Belgium will play one more friendly against Costa Rica on June 11 before opening group match against Panama on June 18.

Egypt's World Cup friendly preparation is over as they look to their group opener against Uruguay on June 15, whether Salah will be fit enough is yet to be seen.
