Body odour is an unpleasant natural body smell that comes from the body when the sweat glands are overactive. This bad smell oozes out when sweat comes in contact with the odour-causing bacteria.

Body odour can be very uncomfortable and embarrassing. Some other causes of body odour include poor hygiene, genetic metabolic disorders, nutrient deficiencies or even liver disease.

This pungent body smell can sometimes be controlled by using deodorants or body sprays.
Unfortunately, these synthetic products do not always eliminate body odour. So why waste so much money on things that don’t really make your situation better.

Thankfully, you can make your own deodorant at home using affordable ingredients that will guarantee positive and long lasting results.

There are various home remedies for fighting body odour, but here we’ll be talking about two of them that you can combine to make one very potent deodorant. They are baking soda and lemon juice.
Baking soda will absorb sweat and reduce body odour. It also kills bacteria, which makes it a great natural deodorant. On the other hand, lemon juice contains acidic properties which help to reduce the skin’s pH level, making it very difficult for the odour-producing bacteria to survive.

To make your natural deodorant, mix one tablespoon each of freshly squeezed lemon juice and baking soda. Apply the mixture to your underarms and any other parts of your body where you sweat a lot. Leave it on for about 15 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. Do not scrub while washing off; just rub off the mixture gently. And then you can take a shower afterwards.

Do this once daily for a weeks and say goodbye to body odour.
