The Big Brother Naija show may be over but the buzz it generated is far from done.

It has been revealed that the last week attracted no fewer than 26.7 million votes, up from 11 million votes pulled in the penultimate week of the show.

Speaking at a press conference held for the 2017 winner of the show, it was revealed that while majority of the votes came from Nigeria, there were also voters from Africa and the world.

It was further revealed that this was the highest amount of votes ever recorded for a show by the franchise.

Meanwhile, winner of the Big Brother Naija show and man of the hour, Efe who arrived to overwhelming welcome last night revealed that he's been so overwhelmed that he didn't sleep last night.

He made this known at the press conference held Tuesday in his honour.

Expressing his gratitude to the sponsors, Efe in his usual jocular manner pointed out how overwhelming the response has been and how he planned to use the platform to his advantage.
