The uncertainties around Gareth Bale's future at Real Madrid have been moved to the background.

The Welsh star who was in action on Wednesday night as Real Madrid claimed their second trophy in two weeks says he is switching focus to the La Liga where his team are gladly the defending champions.

Bale will hope to be in action as Real Madrid's begin the defence of their La Liga title with an away match against Deportivo La Coruna.

The champions will take on Pepe Mel's men at the Riazor on Sunday.

Deportivo La Coruna have a dismal record against Real Madrid in recent games.

The Los Blancos have been able to win the last four games while conceding only two goals.

Many expect this trend to continue going by their dominate display and consistent goal scoring.
