The mood at Arsenal is cold especially after their humiliation in last weekend's Carabao Cup final.

Just as the mood of the Gunners is cold, same is also the weather which is in freezing conditions and may affect the Premier League clash between Arsene Wenger's men and Pep Guardiola's troops fixed for Thursday night at The Emirates.

Though there are plans to get the game going, a last minute cancellation cannot be ruled out; especially if things take a turn for the worse.

An Arsenal statement read: "Thursday night's match against Manchester City at Emirates Stadium is scheduled to go ahead as planned.

"We will continue to monitor weather conditions and work with local agencies but, unless there is a further announcement, the match is on."
