Even though they are still young at heart, the Nigeria U15 team nicknamed the Future Eagles are already showing they can hold their own in the face of adversity.

The young lads came from a two-goal deficit to defeat Morocco 3-2 in their opening game at the African Youth Games on Thursday.

The Moroccans were leading with two goals in the early minutes of the game until Divine Nwachukwu scored the first goal for the Nigerian side.

The Futures Eagles dominated the second half; scoring two more goals to win  3-2.

The Futures Eagles will now play Djibouti on Saturday in the second match of the group A before they step out for their last group game slated for Monday 23rd July against Libya at the P. C Bab Ezzouar stadium.
