The Coach of the Nigeria national women's team, the Super Falcons, Thomas Dennerby has revealed that he is targeting at least two more friendly games for his team before the kickoff of the 2018  Africa Women Cup of Nations in Ghana.

The Falcons' Coach in a chat with Bounce Sports at the Jubilee Chalets campsite in Epe said with two more games his side should be good to go.

"We don't have a problem with the timing of our first friendly and we chose to play a boys team so we can reach the level we desire as fast as possible" the former Sweden coach revealed.

"Before the tournament in Ghana, we hope to at least play two more games but I cannot tell you outrightly who the opponents are" the coach added.

The Nigeria senior women team bowed 3-2 to Dominion Hotspur Football Academy in a friendly encounter at the Atlantic Hall Secondary School pitch on Thursday.

A first half brace from Etim Friday plus Kolawole Bashiru’s second-half strike saw Thomas Dennerby’s ladies narrowly lose their first pre-Africa Women’s Cup of Nation warm-up match.

Dennerby will be looking forward to another warm-up match to make up his mind on those that will make the 21-woman final squad on or before Sunday, November 4.
