Australian Open: Nadal Zooms Into Final In Style
Rafael Nadal has qualified for his fifth Australian Open final in style.
He trounced Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-2 6-4 6-0 in a thrilling semi final on Thursday.
The World No 2 will now vie for the Grand Slam title against either Novak Djokovic or Lucas Pouille.
Twenty-year-old Tsitsipas created headlines by eliminating Roger Federer earlier this week but his memorable streak came to an emphatic halt against Nadal.
The 2009 Australian Open champion Nadal still has not dropped a set at this year's tournament
"It was a great match, it has been a great tournament and I have played very well every day," Nadal said.
"Hopefully I can play better than that."
Nadal, who won at Melbourne Park in 2009, is one more win away from winning all four Grand Slams at least twice - a feat which no other man has achieved in the Open era.
