Three students may have ended their tertiary education abruptly over misconduct.

The students, who are former union leaders, were expelled by authorities of Auchi Polytechnic.

Samson Okoduwa, former president, Obukowho Favour Oghenerume, former secretary general and Unuareleokpa Patrick, former speaker of the students’ union government are paying the prize for series of activities that allegedly brought disrepute to the institution.

According to the Acting Rector of the Polytechnic, Sanusi Jimah, the trio impersonated themselves as union officials even after the institution’s authority had banned union activities during the examination period.

Jimah added that the trio also led hoodlums to disrupt the first paper of the second semester examinations and refused to hand over union property in their possession.
