Acting President Yemi Osinbajo leaves for Addis Ababa, Ethopia this Monday, July 3 for an African Union (AU) Summit.

This was announced by his spokesperson, Mr Laolu Akande via his Twitter handle.

Osinbajo’s focus as he attends the summit is not known but the theme of the session is "Harnessing the Demographic Dividend through Investments in the Youth."

It would also discuss the report on the Institutional Reform of the AU; peace and security issues as well as the reform of the United Nations Security Council.

The summit will be attended by heads of states and governments from all over the continent as well as other invited global and continental leaders.

The Acting President returns to Nigeria same day.
