Atiku’s Presidential Campaign Begins In South-East
The presidential ambition of former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, is gathering momentum.
One of the groups Atiku hopes to use to win the presidency has already commenced campaign in his support.
The group, Atiku Care Foundation, on Monday in Anambra State started mobilization of the South East electorate for Atiku.
The national chairman of the group, Aliyu Bin Abba while inaugurating the state chapter stated that Atiku would contest the 2019 presidential election to bring about a positive change in all sectors of the economy.
Abba said the foundation was established to extend care to the needy like the indigent and orphanages because Atiku has the people of Nigeria at heart.
He stated that the group membership cuts across all political parties and would soon be launched in all the states in the South-east zone.
He enjoined people to join the Atiku movement and help to actualize his vision for a better Nigeria.
The state coordinator of the foundation, Ndubuisi Obijiofor said the former Vice President was an advocate of true federalism and restructuring, and should be given a chance to save Nigeria.
“We are in a serious mess in Nigeria and we believe Atiku will deliver us out of the mess. He will take us to the promised land,” he added.
