It appears the All Progressives Congress will not lose sleep following Friday's sudden exit of a former Vice President from its fold.

Atiku Abubakar says the APC has lost focus and failed to deliver on the promises made to the people during campaigns in 2015.

Reaction to his exit have began to pour in. Top of the list of the President's allies is the outspoken Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai.

As usual, he visited the Villa on Friday to observe Jummat prayers with the president and other top aides of the federal executive council.

He described Atiku as a serial defector and presidential aspirant who may have become less popular each time he crosses from one party to another.

El-Rufai also claims no governor will leave the party and accompany Atiku in his search for a presidential ticket.
