Things are starting brightly for one of the Assistant coaches of the Super Eagles Imama Amapakapbo.

He has just resumed as the new coach for Nigeria Professional Football League side, El-Kanemi Warriors.

Imama, who unceremoniously left Enugu Rangers, confirmed that he has received a car gift from the Borno State Governor for simply agreeing to come over to Maiduguri.

"I sign a new contract with El Kanemi Warriors today (Tuesday) and on meeting the governor he gifts me a brand new Toyota corolla saloon car for agreeing to come coach his team.

"Come and join me sing hallelujah Jehovah Jareh has done me well" the excited coach wrote on his facebook wall.

Ready for a new adventure, Amapakabo started his career on the touchline with Sharks FC (now Rivers United) in 2002 before departing in 2012 for Enyimba FC, where he worked as assistant coach for two years.

In 2014, he left for Enugu Rangers to serve as an assistant coach to Kelechi Emeteole.

In 2015, the Rangers board of management named the tactician as the Flying Antelopes’ manager and the gamble paid off as he won the NPFL title.
