Nigerian queen Tobi Amusan won gold at the 2018 African Senior Athletics Championship in the 100m women’s hurdles event.

She ran a time of 12.86 second to finish ahead of her competitors inside the Stephen Keshi Stadium on Thursday.

Bounce News sought to know how she did it so easily, and the athlete said home support gave her the edge.

“The goal was to come out here to do my race and that was exactly what I did, and I’m pretty excited I won the gold.

“Coming in here on the home front was one of the edges I have over other hurdles competitors.” She told Bounce News.

She added that her goal is to keep winning.

“The goal is to keep winning medals, keep getting everything in the record book, and hopefully watch out for the Olympics and everything will be fine.”
