Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi has contributed to helping local a community in England.

The Nigeria international joined Arsenal’s 'Kicks' project which uses football as a way to positively engage young people in the local area.

Iwobi was present on Thursday to award Dillon White, a member of 'Kicks', who has gone from taking part in sessions after school to earning his coaching badges and becoming an Arsenal Kicks coach himself.

"To actually see it for myself with my own eyes is amazing." said Iwobi. "It gives them [participants] the opportunity to get off the streets, to learn about life, not just on the pitch but also off it.

"It gives them the possibilities to better their career and better their future,” Iwobi said while presenting the Kicks coach with a comic book strip, telling the story of his journey through the programme.
