Arsenal have officially begun their summer transfer window recruitment.

While fans will prefer big name signings that would propel the London club to instant success, Coach Arsene Wenger has started with a cheap recruit in Bosnia defender, Sead Kolasinac.

The Bosnian left-back is joining the Gunners on a free transfer from Schalke after months of speculation suggesting he was on his way to the Emirates Stadium, and his arrival has now been confirmed.

Kolasinac is the Gunners’ first signing of the summer in what is expected to be a busy one from the club after they dropped out of the top four in 2016/17.

There are reports that Arsenal is ready to spend big this period including providing a staggering £120million to lure over Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe.

If the Mbappe deal is seen through which many fear it won't, it would smash not only Arsenal's transfer record, but the worldwide one set last summer when Paul Pogba joined Manchester United for £89million.
