A three-year-old baby girl who was declared missing about a month ago has been found.

Oluwasemilore Adebiyi was abducted by her mother's apprentice, Gladys Austin and sold for N60, 000 to a woman in Anambra State

Austin had barely spent a week as an apprentice of Adebiyi's mother, Tobiloba in the Alagbado area of Lagos State when she absconded with the victim.

The case was reported to policemen at the Alagbado division, from where it was transferred to the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) which began a manhunt for the suspect,

John was later arrested in Badagry after which she confessed to the crime.

Upon interrogation , she confessed that she sells new born babies to families without children.

She told the police that she sold the victim to an elderly woman, telling the woman that the girl belonged to a prostitute who wanted to get rid of the baby.

Oluwasemilore was later resold to another woman in the state.

It was gathered that the victim was sold four different times to different women before she was rescued.
