The National Vice Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Inuwa Abdulkadir, has been sacked from the party for alleged anti-party activities.

Abdulkadir, who is a close friend of the Governor Aminu Tambuwal, has fallen out of favour with state party leader, Aliyu Wammako.

Chairman of the Sokoto chapter of the APC, Isa Achida, said Abdulkadir was sacked for various anti-party activities such as holding parallel gatherings, disrespect to party leadership and neglecting the party.

He said the expulsion followed due process as he was given a chance to defend himself but refused to appear or send a representative.

According to Achida, the expulsion started from the  ward and local government level, after which the state party leadership ratified the process.

When contacted, Abdulkadir faulted the expulsion, saying due process was not followed.
