The National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole says the alleged crises over the results of the party primaries are being exaggerated.

He made this known on Monday in an interview monitored by Bounce News in Abuja.

The embattled chairman tried to play down the face-off between him and 3 state governors insisting that they are his friends.

"Rochas Okorocha, Ibikunle Amosun and Yari are my good friends.

"We have enjoyed a good relationship even while I served as governor and that relationship is being carried on into the APC's larger family.

"We do have very excellent relations up until this issue of conducting primaries.

"I believe that we have enough mutual friends especially among the other governors who are at peace with the party and their people to help mediate and reconcile our differences.

"The issue is not between me and the governors. It is between those who won the primaries and the governors in their own state.

"It is peace within the APC family in each of these states that we need to ensure so that we can approach the elections with a common voice", he said.

Last week, Oshiomohole has referred to the three governors as emperors trying to dictate against the wish of the majority.

His statement appears to have earned him a meeting with the DSS who are probing allegations of corruptions against him during his time as a governor and his handling of the APC primaries nationwide.

"...the process of making people who have power not to misuse it require some elements of courage and boldness", Oshiomole concluded.
