Nollywood veteran, Kasimu Yero has passed on at the age of 70.

He is best remembered for playing Uncle Gaga in “Cock Crow At Dawn”,  as well as featuring in Abubakar Imam’s “Magana Jari Ce”  which were both popular in the 80s.

His demise was made known by ace film maker Fidelis Duker.

Duker wrote, “Another Nollywood and kannywood veteran and icon kasimu Yaro .....if you remember the 1980's NTA kaduna award winning drama production "MAGANAN JARI CE" May his soul rest in peace”.

Yaro, who also starred in “Who Will Tell The President” in 2007,  was in the news recently after Senator Shehu Sani from Kaduna State revealed photos of the ailing actor and stated that the veteran is seeking for financial aid.

Surprisingly, the Yero family later denied this allegation.

May his soul rest in peace.
