Another Nigerian Club Threatens To Sack Coach
The clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL are not smiling as sack threats are now flying left, right and center.
The latest coach to get the shape up or ship out threat is the Technical Adviser of Sunshine Stars FC of Akure, Kayode Olujohungbe.
Coach Olujohungbe and his crew have been given a two-match ultimatum to save their jobs or join hundreds of their colleagues in the already saturated unemployment market.
According to information gathered by Bounce News, the Sunshine Stars management told the coaching crew in very clear terms that they are expected to take maximum points (6) from the next two matches against Katsina United and FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
Failure to achieve this will leave the management with no choice but to seek fresh hands.
The management believe that Sunshine Stars deserve to be in better position on the league table after playing 14 matches in the current season.
The Akure Gunners are third from the bottom with a game at hand.
The Management appealed to the fans and supporters of Sunshine Stars to come out in their thousands to give maximum support to the team on Wednesday as they slug it out with Katsina United at the Ondo State Sports Complex in Akure.
