The 2017 Anambra governorship elections holds today, November 18 and Bounce News is live in the state, to bring the sights and sounds from the 'Home For All'.

The elections started long after the scheduled 7 am that was set for its commencement, things have however picked up.

While the election has been judged as largely peaceful, it has been marked by low voter turn out attributed to fear of violence following the IPOB threat, and voter apathy.

Earlier in the day, it was also observed that there was largely no police presence on the highways, rather check points were manned by soldiers.

In many local governments, women also form the majority of voters, followed by men aged 50 and above. Young men are conspicuously missing from the polls.
