Three aspirants from the South West for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Chairmanship position shunned the party’s gubernatorial campaign flag off in Anambra State on Monday.

Olabode George, Gbenga Daniel and Prof  Tunde Adeniran were conspicuously missing during the ceremony held All Saints Anglican Church’s field in Onitsha.

Daniel is part of the campaign committee for Oseloka Obaze, the party’s candidate for the November 18 governorship election.

Goerge could not attend the event because he played host to Lagos State Caretaker Committee.members at his Ikoyi resisdence.
Adeniran was in Niger State to solicit the support of former military President General Ibrahim Babangida towards the realisation of his PDP chairmanship dream.

Daniel, and Raymond Dokpesi were two other aspirants that had paid similar visits to Babangida.

Daniel is was learnt was busy with preparations for his campaign lauch coming up on Wednesday in Abuja.

The only aspirant who graced the flag off was Dokpesi.
