Former Nigeria international, Emmanuel Amuneke on Wednesday started the new chapter in his coaching career on a blistering note as he led his Sudanese club, Al Khartoum SC  to a 2-0 win over Karcoj Sporting.

Goals in the 51st and 74th minute ensured that Amuneke got the dream start he wanted.

The 47-year-old former African Footballer of the Year signed a two-year contract with Al Khartoum Watani and has been saddled with the responsibility of breaking the dominance of Al Merreikh and Al Hilal, who between them have won every league title since 1970 except in 1992.
