Here is an update about one Nkechi Oseh, a 13-year-old girl who was rescued by the operatives of the Lagos State Command on November 22.

Help came for Nkechi when the Lagos state Commissioner of Police, Ag.Cp Edgal Imohimi led his men to rescue her.

This was after she had been locked up for days with a few pieces of cabin biscuit to live on by her guardian.

The Commissioner of Police in a statement on Friday, announced that “at about 1915 hours, the employer of the victim of abuse, one Ms Betty Ifeoma reported herself to the police and is currently undergoing interrogation at the Human Right section of Lagos state police command.

“The suspect would be charged to court on Monday 27/11/2017.”

The Commissioner of Police warned parents to be mindful of whom they entrust their children in order to avoid abuse of this nature.
