Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp is willing and ready to accept criticism after suffering a 4-1 defeat at Tottenham on Sunday to drop to 9th place on the English Premier League table.

Liverpool had scored seven goals against Maribor in the UEFA Champions League and did not concede on Wednesday.

But the Reds were humbled and humiliated at Wembley.

In Sunday’s game, Klopp took Dejan Lovren off after just half an hour, and explained that the reason was because he needed to change the structure of the team, and not to just spare him from a nightmare performance.

In his post-match interview, Klopp did not want to say anything positive about the game and he took the blame.

“It’s just a result of the potential of the team. We cannot get results with a performance like today, against a team like Tottenham. They were completely spot-on and we weren’t.

“I don’t want to say anything positive about us, today… Whatever you say today about us in a negative way, you are right, we are wrong.

Liverpool is currently having the club’s worst defensive record after nine games since the 1964-65 season.
