Striker Alex Iwobi knew Arsenal fans are tired of a coach that only finishes 4th at the end of almost every season.

He knew the fans want and deserve more.

They want trophies, glory for the team and bragging rights.

But with no EPL trophy since 2004, Iwobi thinks he is a great guy and still wants the Frenchman to remain at the Emirates.

"He's a great man, in my opinion. I'd like him to stay.

"He's always helped me and developed me as player.

"I don't think it's fair the way everybody criticises him. It's very unfair considering what he's done.

"He's always achieved fourth place, been in the Champions League and been up there with the title contenders."

Wenger’s contract runs out at the end of the current season, and the manager has indicated his interest to continue coaching the club he joined in 1996.
