Many Nigerians are already shouting Atikulate Nigeria just the way they shouted Change in 2015.

But many of these people are only after their own pockets, but you become the fool when you fall for their tricks.

There are reports that an online grant scheme is now being promoted with a promise to multiply people's money.

It is called ‘Atiku Grant Disbursement Programme’; but a statement by the campaign team of the PDP presidential candidate shows the Adamawa man has noting to do with it.

Atiku says he knows nothing about the scheme and warns unsuspecting Nigerians not to fall for fraudsters.

"The attention of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organization (APCO) has been drawn to an on-going scheme that purports to disburse grants to unsuspecting Nigerians.

"Information available to us reveal that the scheme code-named ‘Atiku Grant Disbursement Programme’ (see link is asking unsuspecting members of the public to contribute a certain amount of money which will be multiplied for them after they have downloaded a particular social media application.

"The APCO disclaims this scheme and any other in such manner. For the avoidance of doubt, the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organization is not in any way involved with the scheme or any other in such manner and neither did it give a proxy authorization," the statement read.

Moving forward, the statement has warned that any communication that does not emanate from Atiku Abubakar’s official/verified social media handles should be disregarded.

In other words, beware of fake social media accounts opened in the candidate's name, they will defraud you.
